Celebrate Women! 2016

A Photographic Art Competition with Paintings/Etchings

Guidelines:  Every submission must feature a woman or women. Every submission must be delivered framed in a black 16 x 20 frame with D-ring hardware (gentle to the wall) on the back making it hang-ready. Label the back w/your title, type of process for example, “fine art digital imaging” or “Black & White 35 mm film” or “Medium Format”; your name & phone number. Deadline: February 24, 2016.

Deliver to Photo Lab, Building 300, Las Positas College campus. All submissions will be accepted. Please also email a digital copy of submission to the below email.

The Las Positas Film Festival is tonight

Watch short films made by college student and emerging professionals at the LPC Film Festival. Admission to the screening, awards, and exhibition are free.  Arrive early to check-out the Movie Poster Design Exhibition in the gallery of the Mertes Center for the Arts.

Enter the LPC Film Festival

Enter your short films into the 7th Annual LPC Film Festival. Open to students from all local colleges and emerging professional filmmakers. Event will take place on Saturday October 10, 2015 at the wonderful Mertes Center Theater. No cost to enter, limited to 3 submissions, films will be selected, judged and awarded prizes.

Deadline: Next Friday 9/18/15 at Noon, Must be turned-in at building #300, room #311 Photo Dept. Lab, LPC Campus, 3000 Campus Hill Drive, Livermore, CA 94551.
