2016 Spring Photography Exhibition Reception and Awards

Join us on Tuesday 4/26/16 from 6PM-8PM for the reception/awards to honor the hard work of the photography students exhibiting their work in this year's show. The reception will take place in the bldg. 2400 lobby with refreshments provided. The awards will be given-out from 7-7:30PM in room #2420. Please invite your friends and family to this special event. The work is on exhibit until May 13 in buildings #2400 and #4000 art gallery. If you have questions email dhphotovideo@gmail.com.

2016 Spring Photography Exhibition


 

It's that time of year again, time to select your best photos and enter them into the Spring Photography Exhibition.

The exhibition and competition are free to enter with prizes and awards will be given to students for selected works chosen by the judges.

We will be showing the work in building 2400 lobby/ hallway areas and building 4000 gallery.


1st Deadline: By Friday 4/8 (5PM) email your two digital images to be judged.


2nd Deadline: By Thursday 4/14 (5PM) Turn-in your mounted/matted prints to be included in the exhibition. 


Tuesday 4/26 : Reception(6-8PM) and Awards(7PM).

A panel of professional artists discussing the issues around having an art-based business.  Q&A with the audience and refreshments provided. Thursday, March 17 2-4PM in room #300 (bldg. 300) on the Las Positas College campus.

Celebrate Women! 2016

A Photographic Art Competition with Paintings/Etchings

Guidelines:  Every submission must feature a woman or women. Every submission must be delivered framed in a black 16 x 20 frame with D-ring hardware (gentle to the wall) on the back making it hang-ready. Label the back w/your title, type of process for example, “fine art digital imaging” or “Black & White 35 mm film” or “Medium Format”; your name & phone number. Deadline: February 24, 2016.

Deliver to Photo Lab, Building 300, Las Positas College campus. All submissions will be accepted. Please also email a digital copy of submission to the below email.
