Come to the 6th Annual LPC Film Festival on Saturday March1, 2014 7PM at the Barbra Mertes Center of the Arts Theater (bldg.#4000).  Support local independent filmmakers by attending the screening and awards.  There is also an exhibition of movie posters on display in the gallery of the lobby in building #4000.  The event is completely free so bring some friends and family.  Las Positas College is located at 3000 Campus Hill Drive, Livermore, CA 94551.

Photographer Jonathon Miller Launches Kickstarter Campaign 

Former LPC student, writer and photographer Jonathon Miller is working on a series of photographs documenting the facades of endangered movie theaters in the greater Bay Area. The photographs are produced in  the historic cyanotype process utilizing traditional methods and hand crafting making each image unique.  In support of his efforts he has started a Kickstarter campaign to help finish his project  for a show at the Bankhead Theater in 2014.
